Sillybuggeryness Club Membership is open to all ages, colour and creed, male or female and does not require Motorcycle ownership. However, the Club is primarily a Rally Club formed to attend Motorcycle Rallies and Motorcycle ownership is actively encouraged. Although it is handy having a few Car Drivers to carry all our luggage !!! The main requirement of all new members is to uphold the values of the Club, to enjoy having fun and socialise with other like-minded fellow Rally goers.
To join the ranks of Sillybuggeryness simply click on the "OUR FORUM" tab on this website, sign in and introduce yourself. You will get an immediate friendly welcome and be able to see for yourself what we are about, the Rallies we will be attending, parties being organised and generally anything else you need to know. You wont be waiting long for a reply, that’s for sure. Alternatively you can approach us at any of the Rallies we are attending, ask for a Founder member who will introduce you to the others and run through the requirements of becoming a Sillybugger. Lastly, you can e-mail us direct through this site and we will get a reply out to you just as soon as we sober up !!!!
Once you have introduced yourself, or been introduced, every prospective member is expected to attend an official Event or Rally to allow these initial introductions to be made. A second officially organised Event must be attended to show commitment followed by a third Event, to provide an outlook of suitability. All 3 introductory events should be attended within 12 months. All Founder members have undergone this process and it is expected of all future members.
The founder members and/or designated members will decide the suitability of all new members during and after the three initial Events have been attended. Assuming suitability, the Patch will be issued after the third Event. Once a member has been welcomed into the Club and has received the Patch that member will be deemed an active member.
Then all you have to do to remain an active member is attend a minimum of three officially organised Events or Rallies per year. These events will be designated by the Founder Members and are likely to include the BULLDOG BASH in August and an ANNUAL GENERAL GATHERING held at the end of the Rally season. The location of the A.G.G will be decided during the rally year and will be held centrally within the UK for the convenience of all members.
This may sound a little serious but honestly, we are as laid back as you can get and are primarily looking for members who enjoy a good laugh, a good beer (or whatever your tipple is) at a good Party or Rally and don’t take themselves too seriously.
